So why Sasquatch?
Sasquatch is native to the pacific north west but there have been stories of sightings all over the world. Some say that the Sasquatch is actually blurry by nature. Any photo taken of him by laws of physics will be low resolution... but something a lot of people don't know is that the Sasqautch is actually so hard to find and track due to their instinctual habits of "Leaving No Trace Behind." This is something I greatly admire and one of the main reasons why I chose to name my brand Lost Sasquatch.
In High School my affinity for environmental conservation blossomed. I enjoyed making a difference in small ways such as creating anti pollution videos or installing environmental awareness signs on popular beach access trails. I later attended California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo where I studied Industrial Technology and Packaging. Directly out of college a friend and I started a recyclable carboard furniture company called The Cardboard Guys where we successfully raised $30K on kickstarter and sold many pieces to eco friendly families and schools.
For the last four years I have been working as a Graphic & UX Designer for an amazing tech start up company that is changing the employment industry by bridging the skills gap, making it easier for anyone to be visible to employers and find their perfect career path. Lost Sasquatch is a passion project for me. I enjoy meeting like minded people and working with companies that are doing good for the environment and focusing on fostering an adventure lifestyle.
